Amethystine Python

The Amethystine Python, is also commonly known as Scrub Python. It is one of the six largest snakes in the world as measured either by length or weight.

They are nocturnal and arboreal, inhabiting tropical rainforests, monsoon forests and vine forests. It has a large elongate head, bearing enlarged plate-like head shields.
